Aimee Rosner, LMHC, ATR, Clinical Art Therapist

With empathy and humor, I look to create a supportive and non-judgmental space to help facilitate the exploration of a client’s unique and personal story. My approach is strength-based and trauma-informed, grounded in the expressive arts. Expressive Arts Therapy can include the visual arts, language arts, or dramatic arts in order to promote creative pathways toward healing and deep personal growth. This therapeutic approach incorporates mindfulness and is especially effective in treating anxiety, depression and trauma. It does not require any special abilities in any of the expressive arts. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process and that we all have intuitive ways of expressing ourselves, which we often do not realize. This natural ability can be used to gain insight as we move through challenges in order to learn to trust ourselves more and to develop a deeper sense of self. In addition, I have experience in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. I look forward to starting this journey with you.
