Bridget Nishimura, Psy.D.
I describe my clinical orientation as integrative, drawing on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Humanistic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I emphasize a client-centered approach, with emphasis on self-discovery, personal growth and self-acceptance. Therapy is about meeting a client where they are. Everyone is unique, so each therapy will look different. I place immense value on treating others with genuine kindness and respect. My personal style is empathetic, humorous, warm and honest. I have experience working with diverse populations with a myriad of clinical concerns, including depression, anxiety, trauma, psychosis and substance abuse.
